Comparison

Wedibox closes uploading before the album ends.

Not to be confused with Wedbox, which we compare separately: Wedibox is a different service, from a different publisher, and it goes well beyond the wedding album.

Two points deserve your attention. According to their pricing page, checked on 7 August 2026, the gallery is kept one year, whatever the plan; what lengthens as you climb a tier is the upload window: 3 months, 6 months, then 1 year. And the prices are shown in dollars.

Here the upload window does not exist: as long as the album lives, people can add to it. Medley is in its test phase: unlimited photos and videos, in original quality, Live slideshow included, and nothing to pay. The album is kept at least until December 31, 2026.

What you pay for once the party is over

Whichever service you pick (Wedibox, another one, or us), these three points are what count once everyone has gone home.

Viewable is not the same as fillable

Plenty of services close uploading well before the end of retention: the gallery can still be looked at, it can no longer be filled. Six months feel roomy on the day of the party; they feel less so when a guest rediscovers their videos while moving to a new phone. With Medley, as long as the album lives, it accepts uploads.

Where are your files hosted?

Wedding photos are personal data, yours and your guests'. Medley hosts them in the European Union (in France, with OVH), under the GDPR, and writes it down in plain terms. A service that says nothing on the subject leaves you nothing to check.

Which currency are you paying in?

A price shown in dollars is charged in dollars: the rate on the day, and sometimes a conversion fee from your bank, land on top of the advertised figure. Medley counts in euros. Either way, look at the currency of the checkout before you confirm, not at the number on the pricing page.

Sources, checked on 7 August 2026wedibox.com/pricing · wedibox.comThe plans, the prices, the upload windows, the storage duration and the digital and audio guest book come from the pricing page; the home page states that guests get “at least 6 months of unlimited uploads”, with the gallery said to stay stored for a full year. Offers change: check their current terms. This comparison sticks to what can be checked publicly, and what we could not check is flagged as such rather than assumed.

What Wedibox does well

Fair is fair: Wedibox does a great deal more than the album. Guest replies, a seating plan updated live, a wedding website with a gift list, voice messages, a slideshow, and a free tier that genuinely lets you try the thing. If what you want is to run the whole of the organising from a single QR code, that is a coherent offer. Our bias is the opposite one: a single job, collecting the photos and videos, with no countdown on uploading, and files that stay in the European Union.

Frequently asked questions

Are Wedibox and Wedbox the same service?
No, they are two products from different publishers, despite names that sit one letter apart. Wedibox brings together the album, the seating plan, guest replies and a wedding website; Wedbox is an older shared wedding album. We have a page for each.
How long does Wedibox keep the photos?
According to their pricing page checked on 7 August 2026, the gallery is stored for one year after the event, on every plan. What lengthens with the price is the window during which guests can upload: 3 months at $29, 6 months at $49, 1 year at $79. Check their current terms.
Wedibox has an audio guest book. What about Medley?
Yes, and it is a real point in their favour: their pricing page checked on 7 August 2026 announces a digital guest book and an audio guest book, from the $49 plan upwards. Our guest book takes a written note, a voice message or a video, behind the same QR code as the photos, and you decide whether it stays visible to the hosts alone until you are back from honeymoon.
Can I get my photos out of Wedibox and put them into Medley?
Yes: download the ZIP archive from your Wedibox gallery while it is still active, create a Medley album, then upload the lot. Your guests find everything in one place again. The album is kept at least until December 31, 2026.

In euros, and with no upload window.

Create your Medley album: your guests upload when they think of it, not before a deadline.
