Let us say it up front: Invinee is a serious competitor, and a close one. A shared gallery for the wedding, a QR code, no app, no account for the guests, a guest book, a live slideshow, and hosting stated in plain terms: their site announces servers in France, and GDPR compliance. We host in the European Union too, in France with OVH. There is no difference to be found there.
The difference is in the price grid, and it takes a minute to check. As recorded on 7 August 2026, Invinee offers three one-off plans: 39 euros for up to 250 photos or videos, 49 euros for the unlimited plan with album export and slideshow, and 89 euros for storage extended to two years. One year of storage is therefore the rule below the top tier.

The questions to ask when both host in the EU
When hosting and the GDPR are announced on both sides, they stop being a criterion you can choose on. Here is what is left.
What exactly does the advertised price contain?
An entry tier can cap the number of media, or keep the album export and the live slideshow for the plans above it. Read the column, not the price: that is where the real amount is decided, and it is decided weeks before you find out.
How long, without paying any more?
Longer retention sold as a higher tier is still a subscription, simply collected in advance. The useful question is the duration you get at the base price, on the plan you were actually going to buy.
What can you try before paying?
